From the 2017 MAG Design Assistance this project began with a 15% design for a bicycle and pedestrian facilities addition to the Country Club Way alignment. This corridor provides a 7.0-mile connection between the City of Chandler, ASU Research Park, Tempe Market Place retail center, recreational activities at the Tempe Town Lake, and connectivity to multi-modal networks linking to Mesa and Scottsdale. This project included preparation of roadway cross-sections, potential alternatives, and the Project Assessment for phase 1.  In 2019 HP+D completed phase 2, completing final design and construction documents for the proposed 2.6 miles of shared use path and the signature shade nodes featuring solar calendar elements and bike repair stations.
