This welcome sign design for the city of Kingman is inspired by the city’s history and moniker “The Heart of Historic Route 66” since the longest remaining stretch of Route 66 runs through downtown Kingman. This placemaking sign concept that was developed in Sketchup features this distinct characteristic of the city and also incorporates natural stone and patinaed steel that compliments the age and history of Kingman. Final design and final construction documents were also completed for this project at the I-40 intersections at Beale Street, Stockton Hill Road, and Andy Devine Avenue.
